The TEC Bitutainer bitumin storage unit and distributor is a bespoke unit designed for the operations of handling bitumin and various road building operations. A heated safety shower unit incorporating a seperate eye wash unit is supplied with the bitumin unit for emergency treatment in the event of an operater coming into contact with hot bitumin on their skin or eyes. The TEC bitumin storage unit and distributor is designed and built with the ability to be transported as a conventional shipping container with dimensions of 20ft x 8ft x 4ft 9". It has all the equipment on board to lift under its own power onto a drops truck or a any civilian ISO compatible vehicle. To achieve this the unit is capable of lifting itself 2 metres from the ground. Once locked onto the carrying vehicles twist locks the unit will be able to operate under its own on board engine to deploy a spray bar to road level for surface dressing, spray lance operation and decanting/transfer operations.
